Dr. Patrick J. DeSouza
Patrick DeSouza is the President and CEO of PlainSight and Chairman of American Leak Detection. He has 18 years of operating and advisory leadership experience with both public and private companies in the defense, software/Internet and petrochemical industries. Over the course of his career, Pat has been involved in several billion dollars of corporate finance and mergers and acquisition transactions with leading companies such as Cisneros Media Group and AOL. Pat also has significant experience in licensing and technology transfer with leading companies such as Bristol Myers, Dupont and Kerr-McGee.
Pat is a member of the New York and California bars and former law clerk to the Hon. Thomas Gibbs Gee of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a graduate of Columbia College, the Yale Law School where he was both a senior editor of the Yale Law Journal & editor-in-chief of the Yale Journal of International Law and Stanford University where he has a doctorate in international relations writing about foreign investment in the United States.

Stan Berenbaum
Stan Berenbaum is President of American Leak Detection and he is also Vice President of Franchising and Infrastructure Services at parent company PlainSight.
Stan earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, cum laude, from Wayne State University. He was formerly partner in the Antitrust, Trade Regulation and Franchising Department of the Detroit-based Honigman Miller, as well as Vice President and General Counsel of Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc., a billion dollar operator and franchisor of thousands of pizza restaurants throughout the world.
Stan is a member of the California and Michigan state bars and is admitted to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Ninth Circuit and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as a variety of state and district courts. He is also an International Franchise Association Certified Franchise Executive.

Pamela Vigue
Pamela Vigue is the Chief Financial Officer for American Leak Detection. With over 25 years of experience in the accounting field, Pamela joined American Leak in 1998. Prior to ALD, Pamela worked for 14 years in the retail industry as controller and business manager. She spent six years in city and county governmental accounting as well as seven years as the controller for Dobbs TV & Appliance chain of stores, handling all finance and accounting functions.
Pamela received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, San Bernardino.

Lisa Stickley
Lisa Stickley is Director of Marketing. Lisa has over 20 years of Marketing/Advertising/Communications/PR experience in a variety of industries. Additional highlights of her qualifications include branding, media relations, press releases, tradeshows, graphics, product/sales literature, catalog production, advertising, newsletters, direct mail, website, and relationship development. Prior to American Leak Detection, Lisa spent 10 years in the electronics manufacturing industry with a Fortune Global 500 company, where she handled their global marketing programs.
Lisa received her B.S. Degree in Fashion and Business Marketing from Oregon State University.

Dr. Andreas Coppi
Dr. Andreas Coppi is Vice President, Technology. Dr. Coppi’s primary focus is on Consumer Electronics including sensor integration, wireless devices, and embedded design. He has more than four years experience developing technology and integrating complex devices with advanced algorithms for real time integrated sensor processing. Dr. Coppi’s strategic and technical expertise, ability to make complex problems understandable and technology solutions appropriately enables him to be an effective technology interface to the customer. He has worked with several major corporations including Lockheed Martin and Radio Shack.
Dr. Coppi holds a Ph. D. in Mathematics from Yale University, as well as undergraduate degrees in both Mathematics and Physics from MIT.

Nick Black
Nick Black is the Vice President of Online Operations for PlainSight, with responsibility for American Leak Detection's web-based operations. Nick has more than 10 years experience developing and maintaining cutting edge online and real-time data systems. As the primary engineer for pioneering systems, he developed an online digital image management package. Subsequently used by Corbis, a Bill Gates Company, this real-time news agent system was developed for Agence France-Presse for the 1996 Summer Olympics, and a mobilephone-delivered mp3 music system.
Nick worked for Goldman Sachs, developing, installing and supporting market data systems for its New York equity trading floor as well as the worldwide offices. He was the primary developer of Goldman's first web delivered market data system which was used by employees globally. Nick graduated cum laude in physics from Cornell University.

Jimmy Carter
Jimmy Carter is the Sr. Director of Corporate Field Services for American Leak Detection. Jimmy has 25 years of experience in leak detection and repair. Jimmy began his career working for two years at American Plumbing and Heating before moving to American Leak. Since then he's spent over 20 years in the American Leak Detection system. Jimmy started out as a technician in the San Diego franchise office before he was hired at the ALD corporate office as a technician and a trainer for new franchisee sales - domestic and international. He has since managed the warehouse operations and also the Palm Springs leak detection office. In addition to running the Palm Springs office, Jimmy has also been responsible for the Bakersfield office (until it was sold) and currently manages the San Bernardino office as well as managing the corporate training division. Jimmy has grown the Palm Springs office into a six truck operation and continues to improve the San Bernardino office, now with three trucks running.
Jimmy has received his C-36 plumbing license and is certified in Infrared Thermagraphy, PADI open water diving, Leak Correlation, Airborne Ultrasonic's, and several other technology applications.

John Davis
John Davis is Director of Corporate Operations and Development. John manages our corporate properties in Hawaii and Connecticut and helps to develop new operations to allow us to better serve our customers. Prior to joining ALD at the corporate office, John was an owner/operator of ALD Kentucky Franchise for over 10 years. John was consistently awarded Top Producer from 1999 through 2006.
With over 10 years of direct franchise ownership experience, he understands the challenges of opening and successfully running an ALD business from the ground up.
Prior to American Leak Detection, John spent 14 years in the Major Leagues where he pitched for the Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox and the San Diego Padres.

Michelle Hoglund
Michelle Hoglund is Director of Human Resources and Administration. Prior to joining American Leak Detection, Michelle spent 12 years as the Director of Human Resources at an adolescent residential treatment center in Oregon. She was instrumental in the startup of the facility, assisting with all administrative matters. Michelle was also the office manager for an automotive dealer and a cost analyst for Hyster company. With over 25 years of corporate administration, she understands the challenges of opening a business from the ground up, operations, and all aspects of human resources; in particular, the recruitment and retention of staff.
She completed the Professional Development Program at Portland State University and received a Certificate in Human Resource Management.
