Marine Corps Vet Finds Path To Success In Franchising Field & Graduates With 2008 Class Of Certified Franchise Executives

Shawn Elmore Says the CFE Graduation is One More Step on His Path to Success

Palm Springs, California (February 11, 2008) - When Shawn Elmore finished his last tour of duty with the Marine Corps in 1996 after eight years of service, he knew he wanted a successful business career but was’t exactly sure how to get there and which route to take.

Joining American Leak Detection eight years ago brought him into the business community and helped him find his professional direction. On February 11th, he achieved another goal when he graduated from the Certified Franchise Executives (CFE) program. As his graduation day approached, he realized he had found his path and his dream was coming true.

“It’s incredibly satisfying to know you’re right where you want to be. The CFE course was a valuable stepping stone in my career and has given me tremendous knowledge and confidence for my work with American Leak Detection,” says Elmore. “The best part is, the training enables me to work effectively with others in helping them make their dreams come true.”

The CFE program is the only one of its kind entirely devoted to continued education in the franchising field. It’s a professional development program designed by and for franchise executives. It offers an established curriculum specific to franchising and provides individuals with the opportunity for expanded knowledge, industry recognition, and peer-level networking.

As a Franchise Development Coordinator for the American Leak Detection Palm Springs corporate office, Elmore helps train new ALD franchise owners. He guides them on business planning, procedure training and “how to take something from scratch” and turn it into a dynamic business. Before joining ALD eight years ago, Elmore attended Copper Mountain College where he received a Business Administration Degree.

Elmore has accomplished a lot since completing his service with the Marine Corps eleven years ago. With his CFE studies completed, he looks forward to future challenges and achievements.

Elmore lives in 29 Palms with his wife and two children.
